Kainostore Credits explained: prices, top-ups, and spending
Understand the KC to US dollar conversion, how wallet top-ups work, and what to check before purchasing app access or in-app products.
One balance across Kainostore
Kainostore Credits, abbreviated KC, are the platform balance used for purchases in Kainostore and inside integrated apps. You fund your wallet, then use that balance for the products you choose. Credits are used within Kainostore and cannot be transferred between users.
The current rate is 10 KC to US$1. Divide a price in Credits by 10 to see its US dollar equivalent. For example, 20 KC is US$2 and 100 KC is US$10. These examples explain the conversion; each app sets its own product prices.
Adding Credits to your wallet
Open your Wallet in the store and sign in to the Kainostore account you intend to use. Top-ups are processed through Stripe. The minimum top-up is US$5, which adds 50 Credits. Review the amount and the Credits quoted before completing payment.
New top-ups use the same conversion without bonus Credits. A US$10 top-up adds 100 KC, US$25 adds 250 KC, US$50 adds 500 KC, and US$100 adds 1,000 KC. An app-specific usage perk or discount does not add extra Credits to the shared wallet.
Know what the price covers
App access and in-app products are separate purchase types. Access gets you into an app according to that product's terms; an in-app purchase may provide a feature, consumable, subscription, or another specific entitlement. Read what is included before confirming.
A subscription gives access for its stated period while the app remains approved on Kainostore, and it does not renew. Check the period and the price before confirming. For a metered action, check what action triggers a charge. Having access to an app does not mean every feature or future use is included at no additional cost.
After you spend Credits
A completed purchase deducts Credits and records the purchase to your account. Apps you have access to are kept in your Library. Use the same Kainostore account when you return so you can find your balance and access together.
